Gobey & P-Gial Full Band composes of Gregory Gobey (lead vocals), Panos Gialelis (guitar, vocals), Dimitris Antonopoulos (bass), Danae Vlataki (keys, vocals) and Alexandros Ginalas (drums). Initially, Gregory and Panos created the duet in 2014, in Aegio, Greece, after a long-term collaboration in earlier projects, and the full band was formed afterwards, in 2017, in its actual form.
Their music is a blend of reggae ragga-rockers style and Mediterranean elements with spiritually qualified lyrics, based on the code of love and unity aiming to the conscience of the audience. Their influences originate from the Caribbean vibes of Jamaica, the beat of the African drums and the new wave of Californian reggae and from the Greek lyricism itself.
As Gobey & P-Gial duet, they have released a music video for their single , called "Trust", on the worldwide known German reggae magazine, Reggaeville, in April 2017, receiving great feedback and another single called "Music Has No Borders". In May 2019, they participated in the album "Green Line" by the producer Kill Emil with the track "Life is a Lesson".
After the forming of the band, while sharing the same vision, they released their debut album called "Dreadrock" independently on April 2018. This album features MC Yinka, Terrõne and Christos DC from the USA. In December 2021 they released their single “Pushing Hard”.
Their new full length album is in the making and is expected to be released in 2023.
Gobey & P-Gial have performed many gigs and festivals all over Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki, Crete, Kalamata, Larisa, Tripoli, Patra etc). The highlight of their career was playing as a supporting act for Damian Marley, alongside Third World and Hollie Cook at Release Athens Festival and Fix Factory of Sound, Thessaloniki in June 7th and 8th 2019.
